Wi-Fi Security offers the secure scan feature which adds the next level of security by ensuring the targeted network is 802.11i compliant before establishing the Wireless connection. Wi-Fi Security is embedded with a network Intrusion detection system (NIDS) and Firewall features which mitigate and log malicious attacks. The firewall feature is enabled by default and the network Intrusion detection system becomes active without any user intervention once the Wi-Fi interface is enabled.
