Nuremberg, Germany 22nd June 2022 – iWave Systems unveils the first look of Xilinx Kintex® UltraScale+™ powered System on Module (SOM) at embedded world 2022. The System on Module is compatible with KU19P Kintex® UltraScale+™ & KU095/KU115 Kintex® UltraScale FPGA and available in a form factor of 110mm x 75mm.
KU19P FPGA System on Module supports Kintex® UltraScale+™/UltraScale FPGA in B2104 package with up to 1.68million Logic Cells and embedded memory (block RAMs) to DSP slices. Kintex® UltraScale+™ devices provide the best performance, cost-effective solution for applications that require high-end capabilities including 32Gb/s transceivers and 100G connectivity cores. The is ideal for both packet processing and DSP-intensive functions.
Supplementing the Kintex® UltraScale+™ FPGA, SOM also supports Dual ARM Cortex A7 processor @1.5GHz speed for easy communication & processing control. The SOM is integrated with dual 64-bit DDR4 with 8bit ECC for FPGA & 32-bit DDR4 with 4bit ECC for ARM processor. It also capable of high-speed connectivity peripherals such as PCIe, USB3.0, SATA3.1, Gigabit Ethernet etc from ARM processor.
