iWave and TES collaborate to integrate the Guiliani GUI Framework on the RZ/G2UL Platform

iWave in engagement with TES are excited to announce the integration of the TES Guiliani GUI framework on the iWave portfolio of Renesas boards and solutions. The integration of the Guiliani framework provides a complete Linux graphics and GUI sub-system solution for automotive, industrial automation and display solutions. This collaboration between iWave and TES makes it easy for customers to create, customize, and deploy GUIs with minimal effort and faster implementation time.

Guiliani is a powerful software framework for the quick and intuitive creation of visually appealing graphical user interfaces on embedded systems for all embedded engineers – GUI made fast and easy is our promise to you. The Guiliani platform is an agnostic C++ GUI framework for embedded systems, and provides for efficient efficient 2D graphics with quasi 3D appearance.

Through this collaboration, iWave aims to make it easier for customers to integrate the GUI Framework and applications on the boards and solutions. Watch the video to see the Guiliani demo in action on iWave’s iW-RainboW-G53M platform, powered by the Renesas RZ/G2UL MPU. iWave supports a portfolio of RZ/G2UL System on Module, Single Board Computer or as a development kit. The SOM is built on a 30mm x 45mm OSM Size-M standard, and has a low power consumption, making it suitable for use in compact and energy-efficient systems.

Designed to enable direct soldering to carrier cards, the SOM provides high levels of robustness and is ideal for products prone to vibration. iWave, a Renesas preferred partner, specializes in the design and manufacturing of System on Modules, Single Board Computers and ODM Solutions.
