World's First Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC EG ZU19/ZU17/ZU11 SOMiWave Systems, a leader in FPGA based embedded systems and solutions, has launched a new System on Module based on the latest Xilinx Zynq® UltraScale+™ EG ZU19/ZU17/ZU11 devices. With years of expertise and numerous success stories in developing leading FPGA designs, iWave is currently the first and only provider of Zynq® UltraScale+™ EG ZU19/ZU17/ZU11 MPSoC based System on Modules targeted for a top-notch end to end applications.

One of the distinct features that make the Zynq® UltraScale+™ EG ZU19/ZU17/ZU11 SOM capable of executing complex instructions is it supports 2x 4GB DDR4-64bit RAM for FPGA. This facilitates faster data transfer to the FPGA enabling ultra-low latency real-time operation and thereby improving the overall system performance.  In addition, 16 x high-speed transceivers, each @ 32.75Gbps provides high-speed communication and interface options at optimal power complementing a wide range of applications ranging from 8k video transmission, broadcast, high-speed ADC/DAC, etc.

The SOM features an excellent combination of FPGA and MPSoC functionality in a single chipset. It incorporates 4x Cortex® A53 application processor @ 1.5 GHz, 2x Cortex® R5 real-time processor @ 600 MHz, ARM® Mali 400 MP2 GPU, memory interfaces (4GB DDR4 FPGA memory and 8GB eMMC Flash) and up to one million programmable logic cells. The SOM supports a rich variety of connectivity peripherals such as PCIe, USB3.0, SATA 3.1, Display Port and Gigabit Ethernet through GTR transceivers.
