Linux / iTron Wi-Fi Driver Development



SDIO WLAN, SD-Card interface extension called SDIO will do the functionality of WLAN (wireless LAN). This technology can be used to bring wireless networking to existing processors running Linux or any other OS in a relatively straight forward plug-and-play way.

Linux / iTron Wi-Fi Driver Development

  • SDIO Wi-Fi Driver Development for i.MX51/ARM Cortex A8 platform running on Linux. Main features of the driver are:
  • Developed ITRON SDIO Wi-Fi Driver for ARM platform.
  • Ported Linksys 802.11n device driver onto i.MX27 platform running on Linux (2.6.22).
  • Supporting Marvell 8787 Wi-Fi driver on ARM Platform.
  • Ported / Developed the WinCE SDIO-Wi-Fi Driver to PXA270 and i.MX27 platform running on Embedded Linux kernel 2.6.x.
  • Ported Net gear’s WG111V2 802.11g device driver (802.11g) onto PXA270 running on Linux ( Platform.
  • Ported 802.11a device driver running on Vx Works for the Atheros AR5211 MAC device (802.11a/11b) to embedded Linux 2.4.
  • Ported/Developed MAC interface driver and Kernel interface driver for Atheros AR5210 running on Vx Works to Embedded Linux
  • Linux SDIO Wi-Fi Driver Development for i.MX51/ARM Cortex A8 platform.
