Windows Embedded Standard 2009 runs on Intel eMenlow based        iW-RainboW-G6

iWave’s iW-RainboW-G6, Intel Atom eMenlow Z530/510 based mobile computing platform, runs WES 2009 Microsoft’s embedded operating system. iWave has sold the first 10 prototypes running WES2009, which forms the first prototype sales of iWave’s CAR PC application. iWave is expecting the first trial order of 1000 units within this quarter. Besides the WES2009, the platform runs Windows XP, Vista, XPe, WinCE & Win7 Beta. The interfaces supported include 7” LCD, Touch screen, LVDS LCD, USB, HDMI, GPS, GSM/GPRS, BT, GbE , WiFi to name a few.

WES2009 comes with Rich Interactive Media Experience, connectivity and security features.

iW-RainboW-G6 modules has an 16 GB SSD or up to 80GB 1.8 PATA HDD hard-drive, GSM/GPRS, SIRF Star III GPS, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.. The display runs at 840 x 480 screen resolution. User interface is either via the touchscreen or USB mouse/keyboard, while connectivity includes a VGA output, HDMI output, USB 2.0 port, 2.0-megapixel webcam.
