iWave, an Alliance partner of Freescale,developed the “Multimedia Design Solution, iW-RainboW-G3” using Freescale’s i.MX27 processor.iW-Rainbow-G3 is a Novel Design, first of its kind that enables development of state of the art multimedia products like Portable Media Player, Personal Video Recorder, Video Telephony Terminal, Video surveillance products, Portable Projector, Health Care Terminal, Handheld gaming etc.

iW-Rainbow-G3 is the smallest design around i.MX27 Processor with Windows®CE 6.0, optimized for form factor, BOM, development cost and time to market. The design with its support for WiFi, storage (SSD), audio, video codecs, LCD, touch panel, VGA, USB 2.0 HS has been used in at least six different products so far and there are many more products being developed around this design.
