USB and Audio Driver development on Xilinx – Zynq Z-7045
Well known manufacturer of wireless headphones and transmitters for mobile entertainment applications. This US based client mainly focuses on developing the solutions for automotive OEM and after-market automotive products.
iWave developed a Linux driver to capture 8-bit data from ADV7611 camera chip and display it on i.MX board with 7” LCD screen. The overall system consists of iWave’s i.MX board with ADV7611 camera chip. This system can be used in vehicle infotainment system. The Vehicle infotainment systems includes all the entertainment utilities like FM/AM tuner, CD player, display system (touch screen).
This system is also integrated with GPS. The solution offers connectivity to Smartphones via Bluetooth. Supports a Rear camera and a display system for Parking Assistance

A full-fledged HDMI receiver system consists of data conversion, EDID RAM settings and recorded HDMI video playback through mplayer on an Ubuntu System. iWave designed and developed the ADV7611 HDMI receiver driver which consists of multiple I2C base addresses with respect to each block of ADV7611 and proper EDID RAM setting for 480p and 720p resolutions.
iWave delivered the LINUX BSP for the following peripherals:
- i.MX53 processor
- Operating System: Linux 2.6.35
- 7” LCD display
- ADV7611 camera chip

iWave has developed the custom board with ADV7611 chip and incorporated all the driver features successfully by referring iWave’s i.MX53 MXM SOM module.
Freescale’s i.MX53 processors are based on ARM Cortex A8 architecture. The i.MX53 running up to 800 MHZ with 256KB of L2 cache and data caches with high-performance multimedia processing and integrated power management. i.MX53 is built for the new era of smart devices.
iWave’s i.MX53 MXM module was seamlessly integrated with customer applications. Given iWave’s design Quality and Technical Support, client could easily adapt iWave’s SOM into their design. iWave provides i.MX53 processor module hardware and BSP support under one roof.
iWave’s in-house software BSP support clients to validate the end application quickly and achieve short product development life cycle and quick time to market.
